About Move Baby Move

 Most of the time when we hear about baby yoga we think about a "Mommy & Me" class that primarily focuses on Mom's body. Babies actually benefit from yoga too, and thats exactly who's body we focus on in Move Baby Move. Babies naturally go through many yoga poses to find their way to rolling over, pushing back, crawling, standing and walking. It is important for children to go through, and master, all the developmental patterns as they grow. This learning process is psychological, emotional and physical. Developmental Movement works on both the brain and the body and children who are supported during this process build a strong foundation of strength, agility and adaptability. The goal is never to negate parents own instincts, or any of the work they have already done, but to meet each baby where they are and support the natural patterns of their developing spine, providing nourishing play that in turn supports bonding, early cognition, emotional regulation and coordination. Babies learn mobility by pushing; when they move, they learn. In Move Baby Move we make learning valuable and fun. 

​About Ansley 

Ansley has been teaching Infant Movement classes since 2013, after studying Developmental Movement with Ellynne Skove. Since completing her training she has taught in New York City, New Jersey, Boston and now Central Florida. Ansley holds a BFA from The Boston Conservatory, is certified in Level 1 Reiki and is a trained 200hr Yoga Teacher. With all her experience Ansley has been able to create a class that is complete unique, joyful and supportive. Ansley is passionate about empowering, nurturing and providing care to all families as they encounter the demands and joys of parenthood. Through her work she is able to soulfully fulfill one of her greatest success ambitions; to care for others.  Ansley is currently living back in the town she grew up in, this time with some new additions - her husband, son and dog.
